Imagine going on your dream cruising holiday and then running into a storm. Fortunately it does not happen often but sometimes the weather does spring a surprise on even the most weary of skippers.

I imagine that there were a lot of sick passengers on that ship. The ship's doctor probably had more than he could keep up with. He probably couldn't even walk with the seas that rough.
